Abigail Leinsdorf Garber
Senior Attorney Investigator

Abigail joined ILG in 2023. She conducts investigations of all types in employment and higher education settings, including claims of unlawful discrimination, retaliation, bullying, violations of Title IX, and public corruption. For nearly seven years prior to joining ILG, Abigail litigated criminal and civil cases at the trial court level, experience that helps guide her investigations to focus on potential risks for clients should they face a future lawsuit.

Abigail began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Todd. E. Edelman of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Following her clerkship, Abigail spent four years as a public defender in the Atlanta-metro area, representing indigent clients charged with committing felonies and misdemeanors. Abigail then returned to her home state of Colorado and, for two and a half years, represented plaintiffs in employment and civil rights cases seeking to assert their constitutional and statutory rights under federal and Colorado law.

Abigail was born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado.  Following high school, Abigail attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She obtained her B.A. with high honors in Anthropology and Spanish in 2010.  Abigail earned her J.D. from Northwestern Law in Chicago in 2015.
