Emily Smith
Chief Analyst, Attorney Investigator
As Chief Analyst, Emily brings an unparalleled attention to detail to bear in her work for ILG’s clients. Whether it be analyzing thousands of emails or conducting independent research to drill down on an important investigative point, Emily leaves no stone unturned. Emily has served Firm clients with all aspects of impartial investigations, including interviewing, data assessment and reporting at the conclusion of the project.
Prior to joining ILG, Emily represented undocumented immigrants in matters such as Asylum claims and U-Visas for victims of domestic violence to launching a nonprofit law firm that offered services to low income clients that could not otherwise afford an attorney. She currently serves as Secretary and Communications Representative of the Labor and Employment Section for the Colorado Bar Association.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Colorado, with a major in both English and Philosophy with an emphasis in Values and Social Policy. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received the School of Law Community Service Award and the Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Certificate.
When she is not busy at work, Emily spends time with her family traveling, hiking and soaking up all that Colorado has to offer.
