Director, Education Division

Josh provides leadership and guidance for ILG’s Title IX and education services. With over a decade of experience working in higher education, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge in Title IX and Title VI compliance, in addition to student disciplinary processes generally. He has experience investigating and overseeing cases involving student-on-student harassment as well as claims against faculty, staff, and administrators.

Josh has worked for a variety of institutional types, having begun his career working for Texas A&M University, managing Title IX and student conduct related cases before joining Loyola University New Orleans as the Assistant Director of Residential Life and Student Conduct. Most recently, Josh served as the Assistant Director for Civil Rights and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Colorado College where he helped to overhaul the College’s Civil Rights and Title IX policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ever-evolving federal and state regulations.

Josh was born and raised in southern Illinois. He holds both a B.S. in History and Political Science, and an M.S. in Education from Illinois State University. In addition to working full-time and raising his young family, Josh is currently working part-time towards earning his Juris Doctorate  from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law which he is looking forward to completing in the spring of 2027.
