At ILG, we recognize that navigating incidents of discrimination and harassment in the context of K-12 school systems poses a unique set of challenges that cannot be ignored. Working with minors and their parents through these complex processes requires a specialized set of skills above and beyond traditional trauma-informed practices. This is why we ensure that our investigators receive specialized training to equip them with interviewing techniques that are age appropriate and an understanding of the nuances of processes in the K-12 setting.
The knowledge and experience of our team allows ILG to offer the same scope of services to our K-12 clients as those we offer to our clients in higher education. These services include conducting impartial investigations in Title IX and Title VI claims, advising parties involved in Title IX proceedings, providing trainings, consulting with administrators on policy review and drafting, and offering fractional coordinator services.
